DEBUT ALBUM COMING SOONNEW LAYOUT AND OTHER WORKS IN PROGRESS!



"Year 2005. A slave colony, robot-like men, burdened by technology. The futurist era, the cage of human willpower, is fast approaching when, suddenly, a new force takes hold. Unusual sounds cross the leaden skies, reaching powerless minds."



The MARPLOTS project is the incarnation of this surreal vision: a mix of pure modern metal and electronic, characterised by a cold and aggressive riffing; uneven rhythms and razor-sharp guitars. Confusing atmospheres made up by electronic melodies and loops take you to different, incredible new dimensions. A perfect orchestra, where chasing rythms meet the drums, whose extreme intensity is a reminder of a mechanic and industrial style.

The vocals range from a naturally distorted screaming to clean sections. This music is born from the willingness to create and experiment.



This is the MARPLOTS. An explosion of sounds, restructured into a modern-metal which corrodes banality away through to new solutions.



MARPLOTS' history begins in 2005, with the first live concerts and their first auto-produced demo: Madness Stabs Your Mind.



In 2006, the Marplots choose DUALIZED as producer for the promotional EP Split From The Dark Side: 3 tracks which capture the industry's attention and lead to various positive reviews on zines such as Rock Hard, Metal Maniac and several streaming playlists.



They also sign up with ALKEMIST FANATIX, a management agency very active in Italy and abroad. Through this collaboration, they get signed up by COPRO Records (Earthone9, GF93, Unjust), an English label which will publish Marplots' debut album: Cold Fracture.



Cold Fracture will be out at the end of 2008, produced by dysFUNCTION Productions.



DURING 2009 THE BAND CHANGED THE LINE UP AND DECIDED TO START A NEW PROJECT CALLED LOGICAL TERROR
