On August 4, 2006 Mark Phillips loaded up his guitar and drove to Denver to play in a small coffee house. That night started something bigger than Mark had ever imagined, and it has been an exciting ride ever since!

It didn’t take long for Mark to develop a busy touring schedule, playing over 50 events in his first year with hopes of playing even more in the coming years. Mark seems to have found his niche playing coffee houses and small venues, but he has played large concerts as well, sharing the stage with the likes of John Reuben, Three Cord Wonder, 9th Hour, and many others. His music has taken him to places such as Nashville, Memphis, Kansas City, and Denver with the territory he covers constantly expanding.

The music of Mark Phillips can best be described as acoustic folk/pop with insightful, sometimes witty lyrics. His debut album, White, includes 12 original songs that were all written with one goal in mind: to show how much God loves His children. Including songs such as “Reflection”, “Radio”, “Do”, and the title track, White takes the listener on a journey through the ups and downs of life to discover that, through it all, God is always there, and He will never stop loving us.

The future looks promising for Mark Phillips as he's set to release a new EP early 2008!
