Mario Vaira is a Juno nominated producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who's pieces have been featured in big theaters and small living rooms in over 40 countries worldwide. Mario is the principle composer/producer for Five Fathom Studios, and is as comfortable with beats and breaks as he is with strings and horns. A genre-jumping writer/performer, he's a mash of freestyle emcee, singer-songwriter and guitarist who mixes the lyricism of hip hop and roots music while standing on the shoulders of funk and soul. On top of his solo work and compositions, Mario performs regularly with DNA6 & Quest Poetics, and he also writes and produces with the multi award-winning children's music duo Bobs & Lolo, (Parent's Choice Gold Medalists, Juno Award Nominees, Western Canadian Music Award winners, etc).
