Marina Solonos

AMARINA is a singer/songwriter and a one of very few female Music Producers in the music industry. She shot to fame in Greece under her original name Marina Solonos but changed her name to Amarina when she decided to expand her musical career and move to Los Angeles in 2009.
Amarina is Greek-Cypriot in origin and obtained a bachelors degree in LAW in the U.K. although she never followed the lawyer's profession.
She was signed by EMI RECORDS and subsequently with VIRUS RECORDS in Greece releasing a total of 4 Albums and EPs. One of these albums was produced by John Themis, a U.K. distinguished producer and in which Antony Costa, member of famous boy band 'BLUE' is featured performing in one of the tracks with Amarina.
In July 2009, Amarina independently released a self titled EP in the U.S. including 6 songs, produced by her brother George Solonos, music & lyrics by Amarina/G. Solonos. E.P. can be found on i-tunes and all major on-line retailers.
Always wanting and needing to create new music, Amarina decided to become a producer. She is a 100% self-taught Music Producer, using Pro-Tools and recording at her home studio at the time being.
