Mariam JO'BURG the international globe trotter, starting off from her deep rooted origins off the Moroccan shores where she was born, to the South african landscapes where she spent 10 years of her life, finally, landing up by some mysterious twist of fate in the north eastern part of France, where her song writing starts blossoming, and defining itself with certain colourful influences, such as the sound of south African rock bands, just ginger, and springbok nude girls, or the influences of a more subtle kind of rock such as K's choice, and Alanis Morisette.
2007, marks a real turning point, and the official recognition for this artist and her band. With the RTL2 POP ROCK TOUR, Mariam JO’BURG wins the national live and radio contest and ultimately lands concerts in NICE at the theâtre de verdure in front of some 5000 people, and then in LILLE on the OFFICIAL RTL2 stage with other french artists such as the RITAS MITSOUKOS, and this in front of +/-25 000 people.
Since then, many projects have come up, such as the release of the single « HELLO », along with the release of its music video produced by SIXTINE PRODUCTIONS, and EVERY PICTURES in Paris.
2010 and 2011 will be years spent focusing on the live aspect of music, with many concerts to come.

MARIAM JO'BURG, globetrotteuse international, de ses origines Maroco-Belge et son quotidien en Afrique du sud, elle apporte une palette de couleurs subtiles a ses chansons, Influencée par les sons rock de K'S CHOICE, ALANIS MORISETTE, ainsi que les artistes Sud Africains tel que JUST GINGER, SEETHER, et les SPRINGBOK NUDE GIRLS.
Reconnue grande gagnante sur toute la France a l'issue du RTL2 POP ROCK TOUR 2007, ce tournant lui apportera de nombreuse opportunités et lui permettra d'aborder des scènes plus conséquentes, les partageant avec de nombreux artistes:
- Scène RTL2 a LILLE en 2007 avec les RITAS MITSOUKOS, CHRISTOPHE MAE, JUSTICE (publique de +/- 25000 personnes)
- FESTIVAL DES ENFANTS DU ROCK 2007, au thêatre de la verdure a NICE avec MATMATAH (publique de +/- 5000 personnes)
Depuis, les actualités s'ensuivent, avec la sortie d'un CD de 5 titres en 2008, la réalisation du Clip pour la chanson "HELLO" avec la collaboration et production de EVERY PICTURES et SIXTINE PRODUCTIONS a paris en 2008/2009,
2010 sera une année consacrée au "LIVE" avec concerts et festivals a la clé.
