Powerfully constructed, March Into Paris is an indie rock band that is built on well thought-out dynamic melodies and rhythms. Each of these band members draw from diverse influences such as the Rolling Stones to Keane, and Jeff Buckley to The Mars Volta. Their loud and lush music is empowered further by their sublime female vocals and lyrics, with live shows that are just as spectacular to watch.

Driven by their pure passion and love for music, the 5 members of March Into Paris are said to be a breath of fresh air to the Indie Rock Music scene. March Into Paris began with two musicians and best friends, guitar team Randy Medeiros and Eric Davis, joining to form an energetic and diverse sound with Kevin McCarty (bass) and Kris Ayala (drums). Now led by Jennifer Valdez, a brilliant and ambitious musician, singer/songwriter, this close nit group have merged five different musical backgrounds to create one powerhouse band.

The members of March Into Paris have been together for 2 years performing a slew of shows up and down California. From the Boardwalk in Sacramento, to the Voodoo Lounge in San Jose, MIP has performed all over in the core of Sacramento, Concord, San Jose, San Rafael, San Francisco, including a music festival in Eugene, Oregon. Recently they have graced the stage of places in West Hollywood such as The Viper Room and performed in a "Women in Rock" showcase at the famous Whisky a Go Go.

Currently MIP is performing songs from their first EP release titled “Shield the Dilemma”. They are in the studio again beginning to record their second EP with brand new songs including some that have been performed at their live shows this year. Expected to be released in mid 2010, the EP will feature fan favorites from the live shows and will explode into new genres.

Known around Sacramento as the upcoming band in the Indie Rock scene, March Into Paris has branched out and gained Hard Rock, and Punk music fans. After reviewing their EP titled “Shield the Dilemma”, Rick Gebhardt from www.Decoymusic.com says, “It’s interesting to hear the synthesizing of influences into the various songs on this EP. For example, ‘Moons in Twilight’ has a very distinct post-rock drumming approach coupled with guitar crescendos using post-hardcore tones. On the other hand, ‘Along for the Ride’ shows the band at their closest to jumping into truly epic, booming, smart, hard rock songwriting.” With a growing list of venues requesting a taste of their beautiful chaos, in 2010 the band is hitting the road full speed ahead.

Said by Fans to deliver shocking and exciting performances, March Into Paris is the band to see live. Even fellow Label 51/50 band Hide The Body says, “Thank you for March Into Paris. My musical pallet is cleansed, they're amazing!” So don’t miss out on performances from this upcoming band, and find out for yourself how March Into Paris can satisfy your musical craving.
