MANUMISSION :- The Worlds wildest Party
Each year we reinvent ourselves with the creation of a new concept. These concepts are a reflection of how we are feeling & our reaction to what is going on in the world we live in. They have ranged from:-
The shooting of "Manumission The Movie". For that concept we flew in 14 film directors from around the world to capture a different 1hr 42mins 51.5 second section of 24 hours in the life of Manumission, with a different music producer for each scene. These included Fatboy Slim, Jaques Lu Cont, Groove Armada, Jon Carter, Jose Padilla, DJ Cam & Carl Cox. The unspoilt version of "Manumission The Movie" was banned by the B.B.F.C !!!!
" THE MANUMISSION MOTEL" We converted a roadside brothel on the outskirts of Ibiza Town into a motel, where we lived for 6 months. With Johnny "the dwarf" Golden on the door making sure only the coolest people were allowed in, MC Otter (naked but for stilettos & a microphone), 6 New York Strippers , visiting D.J's, Pornstars & Superstars. The Motel was home to The Pink Pussy Strip Joint & had 12 rooms with sunken baths & water beds as well as The Rooftop Shanti Town.
"THE PHANTASMAGORICAL MANUMISSION MYSTERY". A quasi-sexual Hitchcockian whodunnit, a multimedia extravaganza where the use of film, text & spectacularstage shows featuring the 5o Fabulous Manumission Girls were used to hunt down the villain responsible for the perverted stateof the ecology & many other crimes against humanity, to be Vile Tificciapolaei 2nd (anagram for Evil 2 faced Politician).
MANUMISSION IS A LATIN WORD MEANING FREEDOM SLAVERY.
The idea is anyone in Manumission is free to do do or be whatever they choose as long as it does not harm anyone else
