Dawn coined name, Manifest Frequency, based on principles from Quantum Physics/ String Theory, and from her absolute belief in the healing power of connecting with others. The philosophy of MFQ seeks to prove that when "like-frequencies" attract, the results are only what you dream about. While technically a solo artist , Dawn had recruited a collection of talented Atlanta musicians, who frequently joined her for full band shows. As producer and bassist, Michael Levine has been active as a singer/songwriter with a faithful following. Matthew Smith (number 99) is highlighted on lead guitar on the debut CD and often joined Dawn for band shows or as the other 1/2 of the unplugged duo. Finally, Sheryl Harper is a succesful and powerful drummer, who has played venues around the world. Her complex beats completed the mix on Deconstructing Frequency.

Dawn has been invited to play such festivals as Ladyfest South, SXSW, ChicksRock Fest, MMC10, Hyperactive Music Festival, DFEST, and Atlantis Music Conference, along with great venues from New Mexico to Kentucky.

Dawn received the 2005 Southern Voice Reader's Choice Award for Best Atlanta Female Musician and was the host coordinator for the 2005 Atlanta GoGirlsMusicFest. Most recently MFQ received rave reviews at 2007 ChicksRockFest and 2007 Friends Fest!

MFQ's music/lyrics reflect the vision of embracing diversity and overcoming oppression. Manifest Frequency is an open call to challenge the norm. It’s an education. It’s a challenge against mediocrity. And it’s encouragement to all who have ever felt different and are tired of apologizing for it! It’s also a message that sometimes the worst thing we think can happen, ends up being the best thing – that sometimes it is necessary to fully become who one is supposed to be. It’s a lesson in honesty and willingness to use the self as an example to help others. It's an example of not holding yourself back because of what "might happen". It's about what it's about.

Believe in a positive frequency. Focus on what you want, not what stands in your way. Believe that if you feel it, you can have it.
