Since 2004, MANIC SEWING CIRCLE has been playing their unique blend of Ska/Reggae and Punk-Rock to the masses. "MSC" has recorded two records, 2005's Nobody Gets What We're Saying, 2007's Summer Spins EP on and a digital single Go, Cubs, Go! (2008 Version) via iTunes. The band has destroyed stages with fellow conquerers: Against All Authority, Big D & The Kids Table, Brain Failure, Deal's Gone Bad, The Flatliners, MU330, Mustard Plug, Patent Pending, The Planet Smashers, Suburban Legends, Time Again, The Toasters, Westbound Train, Whole Wheat Bread and toured with the Vans Warped Tour 2006/2007 on Midwest-East coast legs. The band has been featured on the WGN-TV Morning News Show and in early 2008 performed live at the Skybox on Sheffield across from Wrigley Field on opening day. In the spring of 2008 the band went into the studio with Dan Precision (ex-Rise Against, Break the Silence) to record an updated Rock version of "Go, Cubs, Go" by legendary Chicago folk singer Steve Goodman. So far the reception from die-hards and long time Cub fans has been astounding and is the band's best accomplishment to date. Following this success, documentary filmmaker John Scheinfeld (The US vs John Lennon) has featured Manic Sewing Circle's Go Cubs Go in his new film about the Cubs called "We Believe" which will be playing in theaters nationwide summer 2009.
