msPersia born in Isfahan, Iran and raised in San Jose, CA has been an emcee that has worn many hats in the music industry. From promoting for record labels to teaching the art of lyricism. She has many years of experience performing and recording. She has been featured on many hip hop albums, mix tapes, and remixes. Most recently DJ Bassnectar’s “Bomb the Blocks” song and music video and DJ Boogie/DJ Vadim remix “Talk to Me” with Aima.
Persia’s delivery is impeccable, you can tell that she chooses her words wisely. Every verse seems to be lyrically calculated.
Aima was born in Chicago and spent most of her developing years in Maui, Hawaii. Honing her microphone skills since the age of 13 she is a force to be reckoned with. Not only is she a fierce emcee and the “lip Battle” Champion 3 years in a row, but she is also a spoken word poet, actress, promoter, model, and organizer. Aima’s flow is versatile blending social, political, and emotional topics with all types of music from Hip Hop, trip hop, dance hall to drum & bass, electro, and house. This will be Aima’s 3rd return and Mamaz debut in Europe. Aima has toured France and Spain, summer 2005 with Natural High Tour, winter 2006 with SistaMatic, both tours organized by DJ Zuleikha. ***
