Malicious Assault

Formed by Omar Cruz and Arnold Alvarez, Malicious Assault was born on July 12 2005. Needing another guitarist and a bassist, Arnold and Omar were out to find them. Chris Knickrehm was chosen to be our second guitarist. Still on the search for a bassist, we found two candidates to play bass, Sean Reyes and Steve Rogel. Before picking a permanent Bassist we all had about four jams together until we all voted and picked Sean Reyes as our permanent bassist. Later on Sean would quit the band (later started his own band called Critical Mass (who would later change their name to Incinerator)) leaving us bassless for a couple of months, so we were looking for a bass player and we found one, Chris Utter, so once again we where set. We played with Chris Utter for a while about 6 months, but his way of life was holding us back from playing shows so we kicked him out (He went on to start his own band Bomb Threat). We Once again asked Steve Rogel to play bass for us and now he is our 3rd Bassist and we hope it will stay that way. We formed this band because of the lack of real Thrash Metal bands in the Santa Clarita Valley. The name Malicious Assault, was given to us by our good friend Andy Torres from Merciless Death (Our fucking Party Buddys), and since that day we've devoted our selves to open peoples ears minds and to play as FAST and as LOUD as we can.
