Yes, MATCHLESS,due to shit that has already been resolved between me, the one and only drummer throughout the entirety of Maleficent's career, and the remaining two members, I have branched off and created MATCHLESS. I brought back the original guitarist of Maleficent, Salvador Salazar, who helped out to start this new venture but unfortunately has decided to leave the band still moving forward with bass player Roland C who was privileged enough to be a part of Maleficent during the height of the underground death metal scene in San Antonio. Leading with vocals is Javier Rios who has been both a loyal friend and ultimate supporter of Maleficent from the start. While we're sticking with the groove grinding death metal sound, we're upping grind to a whole other level. Members of MATCHLESS have had the privlage to perform with such names as Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Cephalic Carnage, Dimmu Borgir, Testament, Samael, King Diamond, Mortician, Broken Hope, Suffocation, Monstrosity, Obituary, and Six Feet Under just to name a few and have also taken part of the Koshack Metal Fesitvals.
