fun - hi quality - soul-filled : dnbMagnafide grew up on a steady diet of Los Angeles b-boy culture. The four elements of hip-hop are the backbone of his artistic expression. When the rave scene took off in the mid '90s he was quickly drawn to it and spent countless hours exploring the emerging sounds. After experimenting for years with the different electronic genres he found his home within 'liquid' dnb. Never forgetting the past, he's always drawn inspiration from funk and soul to help edge his works into timeless territories.
A founding member of the Fourth Level Collective, Magnafide has been producing electronic music since 1999. He started writing dnb in 2002 and is proud to be one of Peer Pressure Recordings' first signed artists. After studying music in college and honing his production skills, his first (vinyl) release came in 2007 ('Nine Lives' w/Talon). With recent and forthcoming releases on Peer Pressure being played by the likes of Big Bud, Jo-s, Sinistarr, Atlantic Connection, and Stunna; Magnafide is sure to keep you moving with lots of exclusive tunes and original material.

Update (November 2010): With a recent 30-month span of writer's block behind him, Magnafide is now back in the studio working on a tremendous catalog of previously unfinished solo tunes and collaborations. Prepare to hear the fruits of these labors in 2011!
