Maesa Rae

Maesa Rae grew up in Beachwood Canyon, LA, Ca, with the spirits of artists alive and passed all around her. She got her Bachelors of Arts at Hampshire College in Massachusetss where she studied Interdisciplinary Performance: Music/Theatre/Art. She is now writing songs, performing, collaborating, and recording an Ep in Los Angeles.

"Maesa Rae has one of those uncommonly good voices that you only stumble upon once in a great while. Throughout her young adult life, her voice has been compared most with that of Norah Jones. However, there is something perhaps a bit more playful, perhaps misanthropic, in her voice. A darkness criss-crossing the lightness.
