Mad-Tek

Mad-Tek consists of Gyu and Globe Rotter, [Guy & Joby] both part of the Bristol based Dissident crew. Guy comes from a background in DJing along with enough time spent making tracks, he has released on the Jungletek Movement label and makes both dance and chilled music. Joby has been hooked on all aspects music production, experienced in providing sounds to a variety of artists, has been in a band and done music/sound for film, stage and gigs. We're not really traditional musicians but we do like to perform our music live and get involved in it on stage. In the past this meant carrying the whole studio out on stage but we've not been able to resist the move towards the much more portable laptops now. DJing together has become an interest, mixing up breaks, techno, wonky minimal and anything else that fits.
Currently we live in different parts of the world but are continuing the production collaborations via the internet.
