LYWAN
This artist was born in Farragut projects and raised in the Bed-Stuy section of Brooklyn where he picked up his skills as a rapper. After being inspired by his “Uncle E” and “D.J. Vandy C” who would DJ for parties, Lywan started rhyming at the age of 9 and has been in love with hip hop ever since. Growing up he was also inspired by the lyrics of Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-One and Run DMC.
Lywan, better known as Ly to his friends, enjoys rhyming about real life situations and his life experiences. Being that both his parents deceased at a very young age in his life and being the only child left him with little or no choice to raise himself. He was forced to make certain choice and decisions whether if they were good or bad it was a gaining point in his life. As it is said “You don’t go through something for nothing”. These attributes are what make his rhymes real and true to life. Ly gets better with time knowing that what he raps about helps inspire people with the similar issues.

He has remained consistent with his gift of Lyrical Artistry because he is constantly in the studio working. In order to become the next big thing in entertainment one must align themselves with the necessary outlets to achieve such a hefty goal. Lywan has worked with many Producers and Personnel such as Ed Robinson, Trak Headz, D.J. Nitty Brown, Easy MO-B, Beat Team, DLS Productions, POP OFF - (Middle Finger Music) Boogie from Beats 4 Dayz, D.J. Coca Lony from Philly and has done Promo's for Power 105.1's own Ed Lover and Curt Flirt just to name a few. He has also collaborated with various artists such as Billionz, Big Neuk, HotWire, AB from the group RIF, Ticky Diamondz, etc. Look out for the upcoming mix cd “THE BIDDING BEGINS” featuring “Problem Sean”. Lywan has recently performed at The Five Spot and Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, Training Camp’s Tuesday showcase at Club Pyramid in Manhattan, Invited to perform in the Rolling Rock Original Sessions National Band Search, and he is currently a finalist in the Independent Music Awards for his song Right Now, The link to the Jukebox is: http://www.musiciansatlas.com/pages/imafinalist/. Lywan has been interviewed by Word on Da Streetz magazine, where he was named independent artist of the week and WWS Magazine. His track Honey, Honey, which he made with the infamous reggae artist Screechy Don, has been reviewed in the blog on http://honeymag.com/modules/creme/. His music is being played on WTNT Mix Radio, Extravagangsta Radio, Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, Thermal Soundwaves and he is the first independent hip hop artist to be featured and supported by Headcase Radio. Loaftout Entertainment, which was initiated in Brooklyn, New York, the place where legends are made. The brainchild of Lywan, is the hottest independent artist to hit the stage in a long time. Lywan and Faev are the CEO’s of Loaftout Entertainment. Since December 2006 they have preformed at numerous shows at various locations. At a showcase, Loaftout Entertainment was called the tightest organization to ever walk through the door in their two year history. The host, Mental Supreme, said “no organization has ever come in and taken 2 of the top 3 spots – Loafout Ent. was awarded $1,000 bonus”.
