Lys Sparrow does not count the following among his influences: The Muppet Show, Brazilian Soap Operas, Richard Nixon, Federico Fellini, the Tango, Lawrence Welk, Nicolas Czar of Russia, Japanese Calligraphy, Sudanese Interpretive Dancers, Bowling, Emma Peel or any of the other usual influences…

Originally from the southwest of France, Lys Sparrow has degrees in Physics and English. But music took hold, and he graduated in Producing and Sound Engineering.
Lys has wrote and produced several records, and his songs have been played on the radio in France on Le Mouv' and RTL and all over the country.
He's performed from Paris to Chicago, in clubs and at festivals, opening for famous French bands like Dolly (Warner), FFF (Epic / Sony Music), as well as international artists like Nada Surf (Barsuk/City Slang, USA) and The Whitlams (Warner, Australia).

With this successful platform and with help from his many friends in the industry, and especially his long-time partner Nate Pritchard (Acoustic Syndicate, Martina McBride, Dave Matthews, Allison Krauss, Neil Young…), Lys began producing his debut solo album.
He spent two months in the U.S. at Nate Pritchard's Epiphonic Studios finishing the recording and mixing. Lys did the vocals and played all the instruments except drums (which were played by Dave Bollinger and Phil Kirby) and bass. Lys was happy to have the help of Corey Leonard on bass, who also helped in co-producing the album.

Now based in Los Angeles, Lys is an artist, composer for movies and producer. He has worked on various movies including Noise (starring Tim Robbins), Deal (starring Burt Reynolds), Big Stan (starring Rob Schneider), The Guitar (directed by Amy Redford, starring Saffron Burrows), Dark Matter (starring Meryl Streep) and The Forbidden Kingdom (Jackie Chan & Jet Lee), among others.
He has recently teamed up with Rob Schneider on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) for an epic Graduation Speech parody.
He has also produced and recorded Rob's comedy album "Registered Offender".

In 2009, Lys Sparrow signed with the brand new label End of the World Records (owned by Nate Pritchard).
His album "In Your Memory" is released in an eco/green CD version (check www.endoftheworldrecords.com for details) as well as digitally on iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic, AmazonMP3 .
Simultaneously, the songs "Uncool (The Ellioaa Mix)" and "Only when I'm gone" are also released on the compilation : Welcome to the End of the World (records).

P.S. "In Your Memory" really doesn't sound like The Muppet Show, at all!
