Welcome all to my music page.
My name is Lyle and I am a singer/songwriter who plays originals as well as covers. Ohio Grown, I am originally from Dayton and has been playing guitar for over 25 years. Over the last few of years I have branched out and started playing professionally again and have played many venues and festivals throughout Ohio I have performed on the same bills with such Ohio bands and musicians such as John Mullins, Boogie Matrix Mechanism, The Werks, The Goods and countless other great musicians throughout Ohio.
I also host Lyle and the Family in which I try to bring a wide variety of music to everyone. Musicians such as Cliff Starbuck, Bill Kurzenberger, Chris Houser and countless others have performed at LAF shows
I bring a unique style when I perform and have made a decent name for myself in the jamband community as well as other genres of music

I'm trying to get my music out there for people to hear but I realize that I can't do it alone. Trying this myspace thing to get my music out there to as many people as possible and it's worked pretty well so far and I hope it continues with your help.



I perform as an opener and/or playing between sets for festivals, parties and bands. I also have solo performances and promote Lyle and the Family events in which I bring the best music around.



My unique style of performing original music and the tasteful cover collection that I play allows me to perform at many different venues and events as well as many different bands from all genres.

Who is Lyle the Musician:
I started playing guitar over 20 years ago when I was 13.
88 Mountain Veiw, Arkansas
89-93 Played with various bands and musicians in Va.
94 Started playing some open mics in Ohio.
94 Played a few professional shows.
94-10/05 Continued to play around the house and with family and friends

Although I am a solo artist I have been fortunate enough to have played with a wide variety of very talented musicians throughout my life. At this time I'm doing what I can to succeed in the music business so I perform at various open mics in Ohio as well as my professional performances. I am so appreciative for my music and all the talent out here Words can not describe and I feel privileged to to a part of this musical journey
