The story of how Lyfe Cykle came together.



Lyfe Cykle a group composed of 4 emcees, that spread a message of hope, struggle, love, hate and all other emotions and difficulties that are faced in everyday life. Combining many different styles to create something yet to be exposed in the music scene, laying down vocals from an abstract yet harmonious standpoint. These days its sometimes hard to hear the heart that artists put into their music but with this dynamic group you can hear that their hearts are in their throats spilling these words from deep within their chests.



Lyfe Cykle started in around 2001, a time before each member had come together. The beginning of the journey started when EYEthink and Lui Rhymestrong first met, where they shared a common interest in the music that they listened, this common interest help create a bond. Lui Rhymestrong had already been exposed to the art of rhyming and had already been participating in the art for a year or so. Once EYEthink saw how this form of expression was so powerful and moving he began experimenting with it himself. Lui and EYE knew they had to put a group together, so that is when Exposition began to take shape.



Word spread quick, and soon enough Exposition became a pretty large group of friends busting freestyles and and stepping into battles at parties. With the birth of Exposition came new talent this where Optic came into the picture, EYEthink had previously know that Optic had experimented with writing lyrics and knew that he was talented. So with this newest edition to Exposion we began to show what we all where made. EYEthink and Optic formed Miracles of Mind with two other members of the Expo family, Obscene 51 and Dinero. After writing a few songs Miracles of Mind died down but to soon see the light of day again.



When Miracles of Mind died down as well as Exposition each artist kinda went there on separate way for a little while. Optic went to work with an old friend named Paradox to create a group called Illinguistics. Meanwhile Lui Rhymestrong and EYEthink and sought new talent in a man that now calls himself Sloe, knowing he had a special talent EYEthink forced him into writing a verse for a track they were gonna work on with a friend named Awkward. After experiencing the feeling of expression Sloe continued to write lyrics on a daily basis.



While optic was still working with Paradox, Rhymestrong, EYEthink and Sloe continued to work with there new found friend, a Tascam 4-track, the quality of the old music was horrible but still holds an important place in time. Miracles of Mind was reborn, with two new members optic and sloe, but M.O.M. would soon see another temporary demise. When Sloe and some business to take care and couldnt be the other members for awhile it put a damper on the situation.



Lui Rhymestrong and EYEthink continued to work with a few different people, they put together a Miracles of Mind EP called the Extensive Journey EP with a fellow emcee named Awkard. There were only a hundred or so copies made of this EP, but it holds a place in time. After the release of that 5 track cd, Rhymestrong and EYEthink started to work with a producer named Sax-one, together they put together an EP called the After Hours EP which has not seen to many cd players because of the small amount of copies produced.



About a half of a year after the completion of the after hours EP these four emcees found each and started what is now known to the word as Lyfe Cykle. Soon after these four emcees came together EYEthink had talked to a friend thats boyfriend produced and did graphic design, this mans name was Sierack Digits. With digits in the corner Lyfe Cykle came together, after obtaining a bit better equipment, to create the rough draft EP in 2005.Completion of this ten track album opened the doors for Lyfe Cykle to start performing at local venues, and to do what they love. Soon after the Rough Draft Digits girl had sought talent in a fellow class mate that goes by the name Rain Supreme, with Supreme on deck LC has put together a fifteen track album entitled Language Of Vision. The album that had come out the windpipes had people talk from San Diego to Reno to Florida a great album compose through these artists.



Now Lyfe Cykle continues to stay on the grind and hopefully one day have there music heard around the world. There is no denying that LC has seen a history that most group never see, a connections through souls that will continue to spread their message. Stay well.
