Lucena House

Spawned from the housemates of 10 lucena house on the hornsey road in holloway, london, an amazing gambling spree bought them the necessary equipment to bring their music to the masses. After developing their music from experiments with country, folk and blues, the house really found their sound when they turned themselves up and let the weirdness flow. With the arrival of spanish drummer, carlos redondo de prado de palencia, found in a boozer in soho's seething overbelly, the band were reborn. They are now taking their new brand of loud into the bars and clubs of london. Their music has received such disparate comparisons as pavement, captain beefheart and country joe and the fish. Maybe they are somewhere in that mix, but in truth, the house ain't sure, and the house don't care. They are currently recording an EP, whilst playing regularly on the london scene, where every gig's a lock in and all are welcome.
