"Then there was L.S. Banjo. Fucking fantastic music. They were rock ’n’ roll, but they had a really interesting sound with all sorts of dissonant, adventurous harmonies. Really nice arrangements, tight playing, just great stuff all around. Also, they had an electric banjo, which the guy played through a home-made tube amp. That sort of made my day."
