When the members of Lead Pipe Logic met for the first time the chemistry was immediate. When they began to write together they knew they were creating something amazing. But what began in a small Simi Valley garage in 2007 has since erupted into an unstoppable musical force. With a long list of live shows, radio appearances, and internet broadcasts, Lead Pipe Logic has set the standard for work ethic among unsigned bands, and there is no sign this band will slow down anytime soon.

Known for hook-laden vocals, entrancing melodies, odd time signatures, and emotionally gripping lyrics, Lead Pipe Logic writes and plays with a commercial sensibility though at a level of musicianship usually relegated to the most progressive of rock bands. But it is more than musicianship alone that makes Lead Pipe Logic stand out among their peers, as they are often described as having a can’t-quite-put-your-finger-on-it quality, or that intangible aspect that other bands are lacking.

“It’s as much about history as it is about what we are doing right now,” says singer Chris Baker. “It is the kind of thing that can’t be faked. The depth of this band comes from a heritage that goes back for generations.” Baker’s grandfather was clarinet and saxophone prodigy Mark Dulin who, at the age of twelve, shared the stage with such Big Band era greats as Benny Goodman and Bob Crosby. Guitarist Tony Conte’s great-grandfather was Vaudeville, Broadway, and television actor/performer Jimmy Savo, best known for his roll as “Dromio of Syracuse” in the musical comedy “The Boys of Syracuse.” Lead Pipe Logic drummer Mike Rene’s grandfather, the legendary Leon Rene, wrote the 50’s rock classic, “Rockin’ Robin,” and the enormously popular, “When the Swallows Come back to Capistrano,” as well as the Louis Armstrong staple tune, “Sleepy Time Down South.” Mike’s father Rafael “Googie” Rene continued in his father's footsteps, penning “Wham Bam” which featured blues legend Johnny “Guitar” Watson and drum great Earl Palmer. It is this combination of the past and present that has not only endeared Lead Pipe Logic to their legion of fans but turned the heads of industry professionals like Kerri Kelly (Alice Cooper / Slash), Vinnie Appice (Dio / Black Sabbath / Heaven and Hell), producer / composer Kevin Saunders Hayes (NBC / CBS / ABC / Sci Fi Network), and many more.

Unwilling to rest on their lineage or settle for local success, Lead Pipe Logic clawed their way onto national FM radio shows such as The Frosty, Heidi, and Frank Show and 104.1 KFRR’s Home Grown, as well as high-profile internet broadcasts like Forbidden Radio where, after an in-the-studio performance, host Christine Dolce said of the band, "I did not want it to end. They are amazing. I am speechless. This is a very special band."

Capitalizing on the success of their first two CDs, Lead Pipe Logic is beginning work on a new album with a projected release date in early 2011. They are currently unsigned and seeking solicitation.

"Lead Pipe Logic is unafraid of upping the standards of current music trends in the development of their sound. Their latest EP, The Fallen, is a statement of heart, skill and motive, rather than just another collection of hard rock tunes. (Lead Pipe Logic) have carefully crafted an ear-full of well-orchestrated inspirational chaos which will surely become regular radio staples and the personal soundtrack for some great memories."
