Not constrained by a full band and the ensuing schedule conflicts, egos, and posturing, Geoff invites people to record with him and to share the stage at live gigs. Or, when all else fails, he just does everything himself. Comparisons to Guided By Voices' Robert Pollard are not without merit; Geoff combines crafty, hook-laden songwriting with earnest and compelling vocals to create a swirling maelstrom of 60's-infused Britpop with a modern San Francisco edge. His latest offering, 2442, is nothing short of an indie masterpiece.
