Charles"Gator"Moore hails from the East side of Detroit Michigan and is considered the most soulful male vocalist to emerge from the city since Marvin Gaye.

Gators experience as a entertainer began as the lead singer of the group "The Transitions". With hits like "Ghetto Laws and "Fat A$$ Pam" this trio was spearheaded by Micheal Bivins ( Biv10) of the famed group New Edition. The group recorded the debut LP,"Back in Da Days"and was released in 2001 on Universal Records. The group soon departed the label and each other and with that.Gators' debut solo career began with his soulful ballad "Straight Lovin" (explicit version Straight F*****g), which featured on John Singletons movie and soundtrack "Baby Boy".

Gator was also featured on Tyler Perry movie and soundtrack, "Daddy Lil Girls" where he performs the classic"Change is Gonna Come" originally recorded by Sam Cooke. Performing with the likes of Brian McKnight, Tina Marie, Howard Hewitt, Jill Scott Charlie Wilson, Tyrese, Genuwine, and the list goes on. Gator has worked with the best in the industry thus far such a Kay Gee of Naughty By Nature.

Gator is presently constructing a mix tape titled "A Change is Gonna Come" symbolizing his patiently awaited release of his Independent project. Gator is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to good ole sangin'. He definitely fills the void of "good singing" that is lacking in Detroit's music industry.

Gator stays humble and true to the grounds that reared him, even after being personally endorsed by John Mason of Mason in the Morning, on WJPR 107.5 radio. He has a grand push and immaculate support.

It won't be long til Charles"Gator"Moore achieves mainstream success as a solo artist!!!
