Louise is a classically trained pianist who has had extensive vocal training since age 6. She has been writing songs on the piano since 11yrs old.

She was signed to her first record label in South Africa at 15 [Silver Tulip Music], released her first single at 17, and followed it up with an album at 18.



First Single: ‘It Don’t Matter’ [released at the end of 1996.] Reached the number 1 position

Debut Album: ‘Mirrors and Windows.’



Released an EP: ‘Looking Around’ in 2001

The single hit the No.1 spot on the Belgium National Dance charts. With single sales doing so well, 2 remixes were released in 2003 – Phil Weeks remix &Stefan Goldmann remix. The artwork for ‘Play the Game’ has become a classic collectors item for vinyl fanatics. Their forthcoming collaboration, ‘String Me Along’, will be released later this year.

Louise wrote, sang and vocally produced the song ‘I'd Say Yes’ over the instrumental, Pornorama ‘Leliwa’. Licensed to South Africa, it reached the no.1 spot on the National Top 40 charts.



‘Silent Scream’

Louise wrote, sang and co –produced ‘Silent Scream’ with well- known British producers, Lindsay Edwards [Tin Tin Out] and Laurence Nelson and worked on the album with some of the hottest UK musicians including, Gordon Marshall from the Moody Blues. T. Even before her album was completed, one of her tracks was licensed on to the international Universal compilation, ‘Lounging’.

The first single from the album, ‘Empty Fantasy’, was included on ‘The Hits Volume 12’ compilation for the festive season 2004, and reached the no. 1 spot on the National Top 40 chart. ‘Impossible Love’ attained the no.1 position on the ‘South African Music Top 10 Chart and did equally well on other SA charts around the country. ??“Harder Than I Thought” was released at the end of last year, accompanied by an exquisite music video, which received great critical acclaim. Licensed to SonyBMG South Africa, ‘Silent Scream’ was officially released on 21 February 2005.

Louise spent the last two years touring with “Silent Scream” and wanted her next album to reflect the time spent on the stage. Produced by Theo Crous [of Nudegirls fame], “Saved By the Moonlight” has some of South Africa’s finest musicians supporting her dream to create a timeless album which is all about great songs, inspiring lyrics and music that lingers for years to come. Louise has coined the phrase “organic rock” to describe the heartbeat of this album and has created a timeless album: the honesty of her voice and lyrics and the beauty of her melodies has reached a new high.



Home [First single]: was released May 2007 and has been playlisted on all rock/pop radio stations around the country.



The official album launch will be: 11th July BMW Pavillion in Cape Town and on the 12th July at The Venue in Joburg. Officially released 2nd July 2007.
