From the ashes of the lengendary Heavy Duty arose Lost at Last. At first more experimental, but more and more drawn, day by day to the core of heavy metal.

The original line-up of the self proclaimed "Best Heavy Metal Band in The World" was Rock Demon on bass, Tony King on guitar, Mr Heinemeyer on guitar and Horgh on drums; all on vocals.

Unlike most metal bands from Bergen , Lost at Last did not pursue the extreme. While other bands showed their Kiss inspiration by putting on makeup, Lost at Last tried to make accessible heavy metal with a healthy dose of rock'n'roll.

The band recorded the first full-length come.to/lostlatlast with Jorgen "Duperman" Traeen. The Rebirth of Heavy Metal 2000 tour with Pawnshop and Syndicate, followed, as did a UK tour in 2001.

2002 saw recording sessions at Mansion Studios (Pawnshop, Gehenna). Songs from that session surfaced on the 2005 release "Heavy Metal 6-Pack".

2003 continued with gigging, with dates all across Norway, including a prestigious spot at Norways biggest metal festival: Inferno. At the end of the year the often recurring drummer problem strikes again, initiating yet a search for replacement. By 2004 the band adopted Metal Jack as their new drummer, did one of the largest outdoor festivals in Norway and prepared for the release of 2005's "Heavy Metal 6-Pack". Released in March, it got some great reviews.

The most recent album was recorded in the summer of '06 and was released january '07. It's called "In Darkness", and of course it kicks ass! It's now available worldwide trough several digital distributors like iTunes and Napster, and also i physical form through CDBABY.

What does Lost at Last sound like? Described as a mix between Entombed and Turbonegro, somewhere in the middle of Machine Head and Monster Magnet, raised on Judas Priest and Black Sabbath.

The world's greatest heavy metal band: Lost at Last.
