LOS KAOTICS was formed in 1990, originally known as KAOTIKCHAPTA. This group was comprised of 4 members but as time and pressure built up 2 of the original four left, leaving the groups core LAUGHS and MARS. These 2 members built a brotherhood based on loyalty, trust, honor, respect and understanding. They met in 1986 and went on to attend school together at Virgil Jr. High and then Belmont High School in El Centro Desmadre, known as Downtown Los Angeles. With the ending of KAOTIKCHAPTA, LAUGHS and MARS reformed their group and it was named LOS KAOTICS. Representing the true underground "Ninos de la Tierra" style, los dos, unleased a lethal dosage of street reality. A reality, the deadly combination lived and breathed, growing up in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles in the city's notorious Rampart District. They brought this realism to the home front.
LAUGHS cooked up the beats and handled the majority of the production and technical skills, while MARS wrote the recipe for about 40 plus songs. They both unleased madness on the MIC and made speakers thump hard through the inner city blocks, as heads nodded to thier unique sound of beats, blended in with their mixture of true to life lyrics. All the pain, anger and sorrow that a youth feels growing up in these LA streetz is felt once your ears gasp their music. It grabs your soul and takes it into a venture of the "real shit".
At the turn of the millenium the group had big plans of displaying its arsenal to the streets and hoods worldwide. They planned on releasing "Real Street Legends" in 2003. followed up with "H.I.P.H.O.P" (How I Put Hell On Paper), "Rampart District", Laughs'--"Hood Classics" and their spanish album entitle "Lokura." Until a tragic turn of events occurred. Laughs who true to his word, lifestyle and message on Setember 15, 2003 paid the ultimate sacrifice, his physical life was taken. Upon this tragedy it seemed as this would be the groups demise, but you can take ones physical form, but you can't take the spiritual presence. Laughs' spirit lives through us as LOS KAOTICS march into glory. We will wreak havoc and release the dogs of war with "Real Street Legends" and the rest of their musical infintry. This will seal a legacy to live on as long as time. Heros are remebered legends live forever. We are here to save hip hop, take it back to the streets, with hands on, fronline, influencial street life experiences, that will capture your every thought and paint pictures so vivid that you actually feel that you are present in every song and side by side to Los Kaotics, as you bob ya head to the real.
