Lorrie Anne

Hello! My name is Lorrie Anne Matthews and I am a songwriter. Nothing in this world makes me happier than writing songs with my friends. We get together as often as we can in Athens, Georgia (the best place to write) and talk about our lives, dreams, good and bad memories and come up with music and lyrics. I don’t consider myself a vocalist but love to sing. Even though more times than not when writing I hear Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, George Strait or Garth Brooks voice. Sometimes I do act and have been truly blessed to work in film, TV and on stage and with some of the best in the business. Hopefully that big role is just around the corner but until then I am happy "doing what I do" which is growing as an individual and artist. Have the most awesome friends along with a caring and supportive family. I truly love my MYSPACE friends. Y'all have no idea how much you inspire me and keep me going everyday. If you are not one of my friends, I hope you become one, because this world is a small place and if we keep communication and love alive who knows what kind of music (and possibly other loud noises) we can make together.
