Lori El is an intoxicating performer whose gifts exceed the normal expectations of a singer. A natural actress, dynamic singer, exquisite songwriter, and a brilliant producer, her explosive talents go far beyond the average entertainer. The energy that Lori El brings to her performances will leave you breathless and in awe of her versatility.

This Richmond, Virginia, native began her career in her college years with the groundbreaking group Souls A Fire, founded by Bishop Carlton Pearson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2002, Lori El debuted as a solo artis in front of an audience of over 1500 people where she received her first of many standing ovations. The following November, Lori El was invited to perform in the nationally acclaimed stage production, When a Womans Fed Up. The play also starred R&B recording artist Glenn Jones and Lenny Williams. Lori El used this oppurtunity to hone her acting skills while also sharing her gift of singing in a venue that was different from the norm. Her drive for music led her to form and guide a singing group called Fresh Anointing. After much hard work, the group eventually made it onto Black Entertainment Television (BET).

Throughout her career, Lori El has sang background for gospel greats Byron Cage, Gladys Knight, Kurt Carr, and Dorothy Norwood. As a soloist, she has graced the stage with Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, and Trinity 5:7. Lori El has also toured on the Power for Life Tour with Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark, Deitrick Haddon, and Men of Standard. She has been invited to perform in Salvador, Brazil where her heartfelt ballad "YOU" captured the No. 1 position for weeks on the Brazilian music charts. Her music crosses all racial and cultural boundaries. Whether she's on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) recording two shows, or the streets of Washington D.C. performing at the citywide festival, "The Black Family Reunion", Lori El's music crosses all racial and cultural boundaries.

Lori El's debut album "My Everything" combines smooth melodies with contemporary beats and strong urban undertones. This project has been labeled fresh, bold, and unique. As you listen to "My Everything", you will see that it is clearly about the most important man in her life, Jesus Christ. "The message in my music is for everyone, and if that ends up taking me to non-traditional venues, then so be it" says Lori El. "Its up to me to let my light shine, even in dark places. The darker it is, the brighter He (Jesus Christ) shines through me. I can't succumb to the environment, but instead the environment must see that there is something different about me!"

Lori El is currently in the studio, hard at work on her sophmore album. Be on the look out for more of this dynamic songtress because you never know where she'll be next.
