Even if we go platinum, even if we make mad money; it's not about fame. we're trying to change lives, give inspiration to people, make good music then get us in a position to put others on; open doors and live."

Childhood friends, next door neighbors, musical powerhouse; Antagonist and Stacks (Loose Notes), both artist under the age of 21, got into rapping the summer of ninth grade. " We just wanted to perform at a neighborhood talent show "-says the duo. "We didn't have any prior thoughts of being rappers, but the positive response gave us the ambition to pursue this."

Several years later, over 150 songs recorded with 100 of them being released on various mixtapes, a couple album features, and their debut album "What's Money If Ur Mind's Empty?", Loose Notes hit the rap scene with the intent to take over. Growing up in Boston's South End area of Tent City, Tag and Stacks wrote songs just for the sake of writing them. " We used to record songs on a karaoke machine using headphones as a microphone ." A chance meeting with the heads of It Bees Like That Entertainment, gave them the opportunity to display their talents to the public. The first studio recording came in the fall of 2001 and they've been in the studio ever since.

Antagonist aka Aisharp, the musical genius behind the tracks takes care of the production. He's been interested in making music since the 7 th grade . "My man from school used to be making beats by banging on the desk, he showed me how he did it, and it was on from there. We used to copy famous producers drum patterns, then come in the next day playing it seeing if cats can figure what beat it was." He then copied some of the hardest drum patterns with the interest in becoming a drummer. Several years later he learned how to produce on a Korg Triton and a MPC 2000XL. His natural ability includes the capability to learn how to use any type of equipment without ever being taught.

While Antagonist brings creativity and lyricism to the table, the second half Stacks aka Money, brings reality and the genuine street aspect. A natural born hustler, Stacks embodies the hustler spirit in every fashion. From the street hustle, the job hustle, and the rap hustle, Stacks makes it clear that he is much more than just your average rapper. "When I was younger everybody wanted to be in the NBA, now everybody wants to be a rapper.my goal is to be a business man." The experiences that he has gained on his day-to-day grind have allowed him to embody those very same scenarios into his music. This realism gives anybody and everybody who has had similar experiences the ability to relate to his rhymes.
