The fires of experience can refine and shape any artiste into an

entertainer---but everyone wants to be a star. How many have the power?

Raw skill and drive are worth more than gold and last as long as diamonds.

George "Rocky" Clarke just happens to wear these qualities on his sleeves.

Hailing from the twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago and flying the

West Indian flag high, Rocky is at the forefront of artistes whose mission

it is to place soca music on the world map.

Soca is on the rise and collaborations between well known Hip-Hop and soca artistes have proven crossover appeal.

But being a fad, music of the time is just not enough for artistes like Rocky.

Soca is one of those pieces to the puzzle of the world of music. It is similar to no other but fits perfectly in the space of urban sound. With this knowledge in hand, Rocky has takeMyspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com / Artistic & Abstractn charge of his position in the

industry, launching himself forward with a fused R&B style and sultry voice

sure to captivate new audiences while continuously pleasing his loyal fans.

His high-energy performances have taken him around the world commanding the attention of the most unlikely audiences. When this Trini man says he has rocked royalty he means that in every sense.

As a front-line singer with the band "Caribbean Pulse" he was the musical

guest of the Royal family of Malaysia and Brunei.

It is not an idle boast when Rocky says his songs have gone international.

Hits such as "Look Meh In Meh Eye", "On D Road" and "Soca Thugz" have been well received in West Indian hot spots like New York and Miami.

"Carnival Is Bacchanal," a sure theme song for the free-spirited celebrations of the Caribbean, can make even the most virgin ear tingle with lusty sensations.

His present hits are "Drive Me Crazy", "Good Body Gyul" and soon to be released "Body Look Right".

Adding to his resume of already extensive accomplishments, Rocky appeared in an international hip-hop magazine, The Next Level Entertainment & Fashion Magazine, in August of 2005.

The New York based magazine will be doing a two (2) page spread on Rocky as a featured artiste out of Trinidad & Tobago representing the genre of soca.

Rocky is the first Trinidadian and soca artiste to appear in the magazine which features the Queen of R&B Mary J. Blige, on the cover of this issue.

The magazine has featured acts such as, 50 Cent, Eminem, Jadakiss, Nina Sky, Fabulous, Cash Money Millionaires, Ying Yang Twins just to name a few.

Being a son of the Caribbean and keeping the Trinidad flag flying high, he feels proud to know that soca has taken a bold step into the pages of the hip-hop culture and he is the one instrumental in taking this step.

"I am proud of where I come from, this is not just about me but my country

as well and I am ready to work even harder to be one of the pioneers to

take soca internationally and put T&T on the world music map." Rocky.
