Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada Logikal Ethix and Unknown Mizery have become one of the leading forces within the Canadian Hip-Hop Music Scene. Notorious for their STOLEN FROM AFRICA TV Network and CD selling street hustle in Toronto, Montreal and Halifax . As well as being featured in several Mainstream Media Interviews with MTV , MUCH MUSIC, Urbanology Mag, The Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail; the duo at an early stage in their career realized that opportunity doesn't come knocking at your door.

Logikal and Mizery first met back in 2000 while Logik was doing his high school co-op placement at 4Unity, a hip-hop after school program within the under-service community of Parkdale. "At the time Mizery was already a household name in the Toronto scene, he was featured on Dj Serious dim sum LP which was the biggest Canadian hip-hop Compilation at that time, so me being a young cat coming up, working with him was an honor." says Logikal.

In 2001 they decided to start their own label called Mutescreamz Mentaltainment. Mutescreamz translates to the voice of the oppressed and Mentaltainment refers to using education and entertainment combined. The idea of starting their own label derived from the lack of access and opportunity. Mutescreamz originally started as an open mic night to give local artist opportunities and performance experience. "After being on a Juno nominated album I saw first hand the lack of support record labels gave Canadian hip-hop artists, so we decided to take destiny in our own hands and create opportunities for ourselves and others." says Mizery. "You have to keep in mind, back then there weren’t any youtubes, myspaces or anything like that. If you were serious about your craft, then you were in the streets making noise, and that was the way you got known through being physically on the scene and through word of mouth." Says Logikal

In 2004, Logikal and Mizery recorded their first duo album called "IT WILL FALL” which received top reviews within the underground hip hop scene and received rotation on college radio.

This was also the same year the duo started STOLEN FROM AFRICA as a fashion tool to engage the community and to give alternative perspectives on how we interpret Africa. Stolen From Africa T-shirts blew up across Canada and abroad which later birthed High School Workshops and Stolen From Africa Media. The Media outlet has been a crucial element of documentation within the Canadian Hip-Hop Scene. Covering a wide range of artists such as KRS-ONE, PUBLIC ENEMY, IMAAN FAITH, RICHIE SOSA, ZAKI IBRAHIM, SHAD K, MAYHEM, AYAH, BOI 1DA, RED 1,POINT BLANK, and CLASSIFIED to name a few. SFA TV is currently partnered with HipHopCanada.COM bringing you exclusive interviews from Canada's top artists.

Logikal and Mizery are back in the lab cooking out several projects including two solo EP projects, two Solo LP projects, and a duo album called "Plantation Music". Keep your ears to the streets and eyes to the TV!
