Locals Only Radio (LOR) is a program that originated on George Mason University’s WGMU campus radio station before growing into a leading entity in the local music scene.



The Washington DC local music scene and music scenes across the globe, made complete by bands, music companies, venues and the all-important fans has been a buzz with the news of a possible merger.ATTENTION EVERYONE. Locals Only Radio has teamed up w/ Gashouse Radio (www.gashouseradio.com) based out of Philly, PA!!. This lethal combination for the local scenes everywhere will allow for a worldwide party as online radio listeners tune in alongside the thousands of supporters currently listening to Locals Only Radio.



Locals Only Radio (owners/creators) Wes Lee and the L.O.R family have stimulated the local music scene in the greater Washington DC/Baltimore area with live shows, events and productions for over six years--and they don't plan on stopping any time soon! Locals Only Radio events range from the regular Locals Only Live shows that draw hundreds to area venues to Throwdown, a four-day music event that drew thousands in 2006 and 2007.
