Lloyd and Reckless

Lloyd hails from Hopkins village. While attending High School in Dangriga town, like magnet to steel, he naturally gravitated towards the music arena. In 1996 he became a member ot he Sound City Band firing hot lyrics. A year later, he became one of the founding members of Punta Rebels as a lead vocalist. Incidentally, Punta Rebels happens to be one of Belize's biggest Punta Rock band.



Reckless started playing drums in primary school and at neighborhood functions. His unique style of drumming caught the attention of the members of the Sound City Band and he was immediately recruited in 1994. It was on this foundation that he discovered he had other talents, however, he preferred to express himself through singing. He eventually became one of the three lead vocalists of the Sound City Band and a year later a founding member and lead singer of the "Punta Rebels Band".



After the members of Punta Rebels he ventured onto different things, LLoyd and Reckless emerged as a dynamic duo. They continued to build on hit songs such as Save it, Hipkins, Gudemei and On Fire. These songs and many others which can be found on the Punat Rebels albums established these guys as prominent entertainers in the Punta Rock industry in Belize and in many other contries. Their albums Steami in 2002, Desire"2003", and now "Keep it Alive"2005 are filled with many wonderful songs that feature international and local artists. Over the years LLoyd and Reckless have entertained huge audiences. They have represented Belize globally at prominent events such as Carifesta 7 a Caribbean festival of Arts which was held in St Kitts and Nevis in 2000; also, they have performed at the Aro Caribeno festival which was held in Mexico. They have performed for numerous Non Profit Organizations in the United States.
