DefRockIT was originally created by Runt Rock of Live Manikins & J-RockIT aka Buddha Child of Soul Remnants over 3 year ago under old band name LIVE AUDIBLE SOUL. All avenues of soul music combined has evolved into this culture that we call Hip Hop. The goal is to bring back that pure feeling of the elements of the culture while stepping out of the box of Commercial and Underground Hip Hop to create something that is, DefRockIT. Runt Rock & J-RockIT together combined (Live Manikins and Soul Remnants) have shared stages with artists such as NaS, Dead Prez, Little Brother, Gym Class Heroes, Lifesavas, Blu, Hieroglyphics, Strange Fruit Project, Swollen Members, Pigeon John, Lyrics Born, ZIONI, The Procussions & much more.
