Violinist Lise Nadon played nine years(1998-2007) with Cirque du Soleil's Mystère at Treasure Island in Las Vegas, she proved that it's possible to play the same tunes ten times a week and never lose one's "musical sanity."

Born in Montreal, Lise received her bachelor's degree in violin performance at Université de Montréal under the tutelage of Vladimir Landsman, followed by a stint at McGill University, where she worked with Bin-Yu Zhou. Lise then attended Rice University (Houston,TX) obtaining her master's degree in violin performance under the well known teacher Kenneth Goldsmith.Before settling down with Cirque du Soleil, Lise spent several years teaching and working as a freelance musician in Canada, performing in orchestras and small ensembles, doing studio work, and the like. She also worked for a while with the Carmel Bach Festival, playing both Baroque and modern violin.
