Lisa Douglass

Lisa Douglass comes from Silverlake. She lived where the black gum lines the sidewalks, right past the Shakespeare bridge. She had babysitters that wore giant platform shoes and cried on pay-phones to their forbidden boyfriends. They took her to McDonald's which was against 'House Rules', but she drank her orange drink silently and didn't ever tell, she's no rat. She's not your best friend either. But, if she decides to tell you her secrets, they are about the streets of Hollywood, her stomping grounds. She lost some friends to drugs. She lost her mind sometimes, but whatever with that. Aren't all songwriters kind of alike? Don't they all perceive what the others don't? Don't they spit it out of themselves because they want to let you in on their secret. Well, I don't know, but Lisa Douglass writes, tells secrets, publishes stories and likes to hear from her fans.
