Liquor-N-Poker formed in the Summer of 1998. They began by performing covers of Sublime, The Doors, 50's rock n' roll and some original material as well. It didn't take long for Liquor-n-Poker to find their own unique sound, which they call "Punkabilly". Raised in Pacoima, California, hometown of the great Richie Valens, this sound is heavily influenced by rockabilly music but with the punk rock edge of a newer generation.
With the help of Prime Music Group, Liquor-N-Poker has recorded their debut album "The After Party." Produced by DJ Primer and Kurlee, with cover art design by Sam Contreras(Transformers, Hitman), and a debut video for the song "Don't Put Your Clothes On" directed by Doughboy aka "The Doughrector". "The After Party" is an album that gives insight into the bands struggles as individuals and as a band. The album shares the spotlight with the people they love, their family, friends and fans. The Pacoima Times gave it 5 stars and Cisco and Albert gave it 2 thumbs up saying, "its RIVETING!!! Liquor n Poker has hit the studio once again for their 2nd full length album to be released in 2013.From what we've heard, this album is gonna be nuthin' but ENERGY!!! Prepare yourselves for the future!
