Lip Service

Lip Service is the first and only female run specialty show on Shade 45. The knowledgeable and provocative hosts, Angela Yee and Leah Rose, will venture where no man on Shade 45 has gone before. For two hours every Monday night, the ladies of Lip Service will give up the best uncut, commercial free radio you can find anywhere.



Weekly segments include a run down of hot topics, advice from renowned experts, and flirtatious on-air antics. Angela and Leah will welcome a wide range of talent to the show including A-list actors, athletes, comedians and artists who are encouraged to share more than just their upcoming projects.



Angela Yee has been a co-host on Sirius Shade 45’s Cipha Sounds Effect morning show since the launch in November 2004. From 8am-12pm EST weekday mornings, she runs down the hard news, rumor report, and other relevant topics. Before joining Shade 45, the Brooklyn born personality also known as Blackanese worked in marketing for various clothing lines, record labels, and artist management. She is known for her blunt statements and witty comebacks, but her plan is to get even wilder at night.



As the former music editor of the world’s leading hip-hop magazine XXL, Leah Rose found her way to Shade 45 through another one of its star jocks, Clinton Sparks. As a part time co-host of Sparks’ wildly entertaining Smashtime Radio, Leah has had the chance to put her background in journalism to the test by providing hilarious, off the cuff commentary. Born in California and raised in New York, Leah Rose is dedicated to giving the listeners the perfect balance of smart and sexy banter and keep them calling in for more.



With two highly experienced girls behind the mic, Lip Service will be an entertaining and hilarious on-air experience like no other. With intelligent and flirtatious commentary, Lip Service will be a two hour block of radio that not only teases the listener but tells them exactly what they want to hear, like only a woman can.
