Lindsay Barr

Lindsay's unique voice draws her audience into the world of country, rock and soul that she specializes in. A native of Newfoundland and Labrador, Lindsay Barr now lives in Peterborough ON, where she has established a solid base of fans through regular gigs at local venues. Lindsay Barr is an ECMA nominated and DBR award winning singer/songwriter. She recorded her debut album "Devils of Pride" in 2006 and released it the following year. She has just finished recording her follow up five song EP "Dove and Dagger" which she calls 'Rock, alt-country and blues'. Lindsay made it into the top 20 in the final season of Canadian Idol in 2008 and has received awards as best female vocalist in 2010 and best songwriter in 2011.
Lindsay has been pursuing her career as a music maker and performer for the last 10 years, with not only determination and tenacity but with her heart and soul.
