WHO IS LINDSAY R. WATSON- DOCUMENTARY

Lindsay R. Watson Bio

"When you are formed and fashioned to do something, you can't run

away from it. That's what happened to me, I was born to share my

musical gift. and I haven't turned back since."

F our years ago, she was a classically-trained singer yearning for an opportunity to grow beyond her roots.

The opportunity presented itself in 2005 after coming to the attention of producer Di'Mon Brown. After experiencing Lindsay’s undeniable star quality, he promptly approached her about recording a debut solo album. Helping Lindsay integrate his unique vision of soul, R&B, and funk music, she transformed from a classical singer into a sexy, soulful diva and took the Di'Mon Brown sound and made it her own.

Today, her voice is the driving force behind the hot new sound they call “Sultry-PopFunk”; a cross genre blend of soul, R&B, funk, pop, classical and jazz. The 5’11” Connecticut native has gained national attention from media, radio stations and promoters.

Larry Weir, co-editor of New Music Weekly Magazine, had this to say about Lindsay in the August 2007 issue of NMW:

“Our staff here at the magazine are going crazy for Lindsay R. Watson. Her unique sound is just the breath of fresh air our industry needs right now, we are getting behind breaking this talented new artist."

Lindsay's

sophomore album, "Willing to Change," exemplifies what it means to

transform and develop as an artist. Her untapped potential as a

songwriter emerged during the recording process resulting in the soulful

and personal "Keep on Lovin You," as well as the smooth and sultry

"Everyday (So in Love)." "Willing to Change" has gained the widespread

national attention of media, radio stations and promoters. This

collaborative project has driven Lindsay into a new realm of cross-genre

styles that has only been accomplished by a select few in the music

industry.

“Willing to

Change” has achieved such impressive heights, the title track began an

impressive national radio campaign August 2007, and was featured

throughout in 'NEW MUSIC WEEKLY' (NMW) Magazine and on their "FUTURE

HITS, Volume 31" compilation CD. Currently the single is playing in

daily rotation on over 130 radio stations across the U.S.

In addition to

her musical endeavors, Lindsay’s new clothing line, "LRW" is in its

developing phase. The line is set to present a blend of contemporary

flavor and classy elegance. Look for more news on this line in 2010.

Lindsay shares, "I want my audience

to truly enjoy my music. I want them to hear the lyrics and say, ‘Yeah,

I've totally been there before.’ My heart is in this album and I want

them to feel that in every song that they hear."
