Recently Linda Stout worked with producer David Sale/Camus, creating tail-wagging uptempo downtempo, a little exhuberant antifolk, an uptown downhome vibe through an Appalachian pop song that Linda "co-wrote" with the esteemed poet Robert Frost ("The Pasture") and other lyric co-writes with David Sale/Camus (see in top friends below). Hear "The Pasture" and "A Good Song" here. The same producer, David Sale, has been gaining rave reviews from the national music press and radio for producing "Dirty Little Secret" with Squirrel Nut Zipper singer Katharine Whalen, a wildly creative percussively hypercaffeinated pop cabaret that David Dye of NPR's World Cafe called "dazzling and seductive."

Linda Stout's debut CD, "Good Luck Child" (2004), an eclectic acoustic collection of pop and jazz songs she wrote and produced, earned her Best Solo CD and Best Female Singer praise from The Ithaca Journal, many other glowing reviews and was listed as an acoustic "fave" at Radioio.com.

Linda Stout's unique voice ranges from dusky to sweet, and she plays guitar, incorporating finger-picking, jazz voicings and Latin rhythms, and adores her an elderly mahogany Harmony baritone ukulele for its rootsy, warm sound. Down below, in her top friends, check out Matt Robbins, her duo partner who played on the debut CD, and cousin Ward Stout, who co-produced the track, "Blue Blue Water," contributing fiddle and mandolin on her debut. He's currently producing a project for Aaron Tippin. And check out her producer David Sale/Camus.
