Rufus P. Robertson a.k.a. Lil Rufus.



One Sunday night while driving home with my family, my wife suggested that I sing with the kids to keep them awake. Thus became the birth of the Animal Praise. It was amazing. The kids began to sing, and they sang until the vision was clear. It was time to record a childrens project. I have been blessed to touch millions through my music ministry, but there was an audience I had not focused on, The Kids. It was as if a light came on.



That night I went into my home studio and began to write and couldnt stop. Not only were there lyrics, but the spirit of the project saturated me to a level of completion. I had a vision, a theme, a title, a lead character, a supporting cast, a marketing plan and an avenue by which this dream would come true. Through the mathematics of digital enhancement and midi software editing, Rufus P. Robertson, affectionately known as Lil Rufus, was born.



For the following six months, we used Lil Rufus as a tool to strengthen character and performance at the New Life Christian Academy. The response was overwhelming. We found that Lil Rufus not only touched the students, but he had a profound impact on the faculty and staff of the Academy as well.



It is our prayer that Lil Rufus can be used as a powerful tool to promote and enhance the inner gifts of our children and create dialog in our schools, churches and homes. Each song on the CDs and each theme in the books serve as the conception of an individual story that will sustain the life of Lil Rufus. The possibilities are endless. As we parent our seed, through this great venue we will be able to touch the hearts of millions through the voice of Lil Rufus. Thank you for your support!
