LiL Choppa

Lil Choppa is a hard working talented youth hailing from Birmingham City known for being one of the shining stars in the current grime music scene for the west midlands at a young age of 17 years old.
LiL Choppa's music desire of been an artist started in 2006 at the age of 13 beginning to make tunes in his cousins bedroom studio that created a platform for himself that lead to performing at local raves in and around his local area.
As time pressed on LiL Choppa combined with his two older cousins formed a music group called R.T.C (R.Man, Tempa & Choppa) in 2007 this lead to even more exposure for LiL Choppa creating a start to his future fan base.
LiL Choppa got stuck in and down to business in November 2007 releasing his first promotional CD with 2 other artist this was called Passion for Music Vol.1 (View tracks on http://www.youtube.com/user/DynamicsRecordings09) handing out 1000 CDs and was available for free downloads on MySpace. LiL Choppa was now an official artist receiving a mass amount of good feedback. The trio made a hit called "Feeling you" that featured on Passion for Music Vol.1 that created a massive buzz for them in that year that all listeners wont forget.
The R.T.C group change at the end of 2007 recruiting another 7 members to now form Dynamic Recordings this was unsuccessful lasting a year but didn't stop LiL Choppa from reaching his dream to being an artist that's know for good music in the UK and hopefully Worldwide.
At the age of 15 LiL Choppa released another Mix tape in April 2008 called ''The Best of the Best Vol.1'' (View tracks on http://www.youtube.com/user/LiLChopz09) which helped his career as an artist excel moving hundreds of units throughout the whole year and eventually up for free downloads. LiL Choppa was now working to perfect on his image, flow and content which fans and listeners noticed and was respected more as an artist.
In 2009 LiL Choppa's work continued forming a music group with Scorpz, Miracle and J Dutty to be the local celebrities in "Livewire ENT" making several hits and receiving bookings to perform around the city at various events.
LiL Choppa released another free promotional CD in 2010 which consisted exclusive tracks called "The 3 Musketeers". "The 3 Musketeers" received over 1000 downloads in its first month it was released and also given out in local areas and towns.
LiL Choppa soon to find that his popularity was increase having 530,000 profile views on his MySpace and 565322 plays in total (http://www.myspace.com/lilchoppa06). Later in 2010 Livewire ENT music group members changed to Scorpz Lil Choppa and Hecki. The three talented mcs made there mark in the scene as the "Livewire 3" with several videos on You Tube including "Livewire Team" where the name "Livewire 3" came from they are also working on a CD as crew as well as working on solo projects.
Lil Choppa has featured on the largest grime You Tube channels Grime Daily and SBTV with over 50,000 views on his SBTV featuring Dapz, Tazzle, Tempa and Griminal. As well trying to flood YouTube LiL Choppa has recently featured on the "Cream of The Crop" mix tape Birmingham's 1st rap compilation with various artist.
Lil Choppa released his first official video on 6th June 2010 called "This Is Me" the first single released off his mixtape "This Is Me" what the fresh new style of track was named after. Lil Choppa has been influenced by the likes of Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Kano, Chipmunk, Griminal, Dot Rotten, Snoop Dogg, Nipsey Hussle, Scorcher, Wretch 32, Black The Ripper, Skepta, Tinie Tempah and his family and friends who were beside him.
Lil Choppa's future goals is to become a successful artist in this music industry and to own his own record label to sign up and coming artists trying to make it in the music industry just like himself.
