Light Of Words

Since their arrival on the Bristol music scene in 2007, Light of Words have been delighting audiences with the staggering sonic spectacle that typifies their unique post-rock and shoegaze influenced sound. Their songs are of a fragile, delicate, mournful beauty, combining delicate layers of sound that gradually interweave and unfold before twisting into towering, cataclysmic crescendos.



The past year has been spent out of the spotlight and in the studio, but now they’re back with their greatest achievement yet: Those Left Behind. This powerful full-length album, released at the end of 2009 on Laser Ghost Recordings, combines evocative lyrics, chiming guitars and explosive drumbeats, inviting you into a world where music is everything and enveloping you until you’re firmly under the heady and intoxicating Light of Words spell.



2010 is set to be a busy year for Light of Words with plans to tour as well as record and release a second album.
