Life Theoretic

As told by an actual member if this thing they call LIFE THEORETIC.



As it so happens I have come out of hibernation.

I have come out of a state of dissatisfaction with myself and my abilities, that go beyond just music.

I have been moved to create whatever i choose. Coming to the realization that the group LIFE THEORETIC does not have to answer to any mass audience, does not have to comply with certain music industry standards, does not have to be the flavour of the week, neither has to write music people like. What a revelation, and to be criticized is a blessing in disguise! The current manifastation of LIFE THEORETIC, are normal working class citizens. They are in love with music again. They choose not to be held back , and pussyfoot around truth. Truth being what the band was based on. Money is not truth. Fame is not truth. Touring and getting yourself outthere is certainly not truth (unless you have big balls) I guess serious people such as ourselves need a creative outlet from the monotony that life can become. Some might call us settlers, cause we chose to work and not entirely devote our every moment to truth. There is a life beyond music, I had to learn that as well during this long hiatus. This is totally about self-expression. Again, what a revelation to think I can just simply pick up a guitar and come up with something out of nothinghow humbling. The entertainment business is a dirty cut throat place. I am proud to say we have one true fan, in Jon Langford. We acknowledge the fan. Also, that time at the Kathedral when some random kid told me "you're an awesome guitar player!" such compliments are hard to believe and unnecessary ( I don't like flattery) Well with all the tattering about there is rock to be made. I kid you not I will devote my life to this cause. The in betweens, after all the important stuff has been settled, once everyone has been fed and satisfied. I am unashamed to write about my little band. I also hope people read it, I can admit such things.
