Lia

Dynamic Latina "Lia Roman" has been working her way to the top since the young age of 3, when she began her formal training and enrolled in her 1st Dance Class. Over the years Lia has won many trophies, pageants & awards for her excellence in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and more. By the age of 10 she had already won the National Dance Championship. This lead her to work with world known Choreographer Fusion and performances at the San Diego Channel 933 Concert, The Carnival Key Club, Sprekles Theatre and many others.



By the time she was 12 it was apparent that she had much more to offer the industry and she began to take vocal lessons. She has trained with many well known vocal coaches throughout the L.A. area. When she was 14 she became one of the original members of the Los Angeles girl group "BitterSweet" along side Vanessa Hudgens.



Under the production/writing team of Jeeve Ducornet and Leticia Ascencio who's combined credits include Eden's Crush, Santana, Daniela Romo, Luis Fonsi, Puerto Rican Power, and Rigo Luna, the group started on their first recording project that generated some much deserved attention. In 2007, the group was named Best New Pop/R&B Group at the Las Vegas Music Awards. The same year they were a featured Incubator act on Disney Radio and were the opening act at the Los Angeles Honda Center "Calibash" Concert for Pit-Bull and Wisen Y Yandel. The group went on to receive radio play on Los Angeles Radio Station Latino 96.3.



In 2008 Lia found herself in the studio with sought out producer/song writer Damon Sharpe, who's credits include Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Rowland, Monica and Ginuwine and total album sales of over 30 Million Copies. Lia also utilized some of her acting skills when she was cast for scenes of "Greek TV Episodes" and Fast and Furious 4 produced by –Vin Diesel/Neal Moritz. But never leaving the performing arena, she also enjoyed her Dance skills as a ChivaGirl for the ChivasUSA MLS Soccer team.



Following her Latin roots, in 2010 Lia started a new venture with Trevino Music Group. She is currently in the studio working on new songs with songwriter Leticia Ascensio for release in 2011. Lia is one young Latina who has the drive to make it in any opportunity that approaches her way and the strength to be a true diva.
