LeXana has been rapping for just over 2 Years. She started off writing poems in her spare time and gained her



pre-inspiration from highly established American artists such as Big L, Big Pun, Papoose, Nas, 2Pac, Biggie, Jean Grae,



Eminem and many others.

LeXana began to write about her life experiences in the form of poetry and converted them into lyrics and this is what she



believes gives her very own unique style and flavour. Other genres that LeXana is interested in and that have further



influenced her work range from reggae to classic to pop to of course hip hop.

The main type of music that she writes is in the hip hop/ grime style. LeXana has done various open mic nights across London



and has also been approached by many labels who have offered to work with her.

LeXana initially started off as a dancer who took part in various talent shows at secondary school and attended Pineapple



studios frequently. She has also performed various times at Lambeth College with her ex-dance group called, ‘The Crew’, which



ended just after two years. Coupled with this LeXana performed at "Street a Ball not A Gun" alongside Angel, the artist of



the single "On My Way".

LeXana took advantage of attending free dance classes at Pimlico School arranged by Hillsong (a church), where she trained



passionately to gain more experience. LeXana then decided to build her own dance crew which was forced to break up as she



found that her true calling was music.

LeXana is now 20 years old, she has performed at Street 2 Elite In Sheffield, The Portuguese festival in Kennington and at



the Clapham Park Youth Project at Agnes Riley Park. LeXana has set an aim. She wishes to help the youth through music, she



has began developing this along Clapham Park Youth Project With www.GenerationRadio.co.uk. Check that out!
