In the short period in which Lewis has been making beats, he has developed a reputation for being one of the best young beat-smiths emerging in the industry. Lewis became interested in making beats through DJing and playing numerous other instruments.



His classical training in the fine art of music has played a practical role in fine-tuning his ability to compose music on top of having a keen ear for samples. This combination of synth and sampling provides the unique sound to which is becoming his signature. His beats involve an array of styles from soulful melodies, darker sounds, to club bangers. Lewis draws his influence from Just Blaze, Dr Dre, Timbaland and Hi-tek.



In early 2007 Lewis teamed up with one of Australia & New Zealands most

saught after producers Unknown to create something that is set to take the

world by storm.



The production team by the name of TWICE AS NICE (Unknown & Lewis One) have landed tracks with various major label artists throughout the world and are

continuing to build a catalogue of beats & tracks from Hip Hop to Pop to

R&B/Soul from Australia To France.

DJ Muggs and GZA will join forces once again to release a remix album to

their collaborative effort "Grandmasters". The new album, entitled

"Grandmasters Remix Album" will see various producers re-working songs from

their previous effort. Featured contributors include DJ Khalil, James

Alsanders, Scoop DeVille, DJ Solo, LD, King Karnov, St. Louis, Australia's

Lewis One, and Dialekt.



The album will also ship with a bonus DVD with concert footage and a look

inside studio sessions during the making of the album. "Grandmasters Remix

Album" will be released on Angeles Records.
