Les Shelleys

The Les Shelleys are Tom Brosseau and Angela Correa, a duo who first began cutting their teeth in San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles. Their sound has been described as a plait of voices. As a gift, Al Guerra, a San Diego music scene main-stay, bestowed the Les Shelleys a mini-disc recorder. This is the device that was used to capture the beginnings of the Les Shelleys in 2003 & 2004 at 1115 West Kensington, Echo Park, Los Angeles, California. Selections from those sessions are currently being mastered and sequenced for release on Brighton, UK, and New York based Fat Cat records sometime in 2010.
